Belize Trips
Why travel solo to Belize?
Turquoise waters, white-sand beaches and unique wildlife feature amongst our favourite things about Belize.
Tiny yet brimming with biodiversity, Belize is home to the second largest barrier reef in the world. Dive in to uncover countless species of marine life, from sharks and manta rays to tropical fish. Islands such as Caye Caulker and Ambergris Caye will make you feel like you’ve been transported into a Caribbean dream, complete with untouched beaches and crystalline sea-waters.
Further inland, a lush rainforest terrain awaits to be explored; where a network of national parks and protected areas provides sanctuary for the country’s precious ecosystems and wildlife communities. Wildlife-lover? Keep an eye out howler monkeys, iguanas, jaguars and the charming toucan as you fly through the canopy on a thrilling zipline. Mountain Pine Ridge offers further opportunities to embrace your inner adventurer, with cascading waterfalls to be scaled, and rugged ridges to be conquered.
Whether you’re drawn to tropical beaches or pristine rainforest, what Belize delivers is the quintessential back-to-nature experience.
Top places to visit in Belize
San Ignacio
This vibrant traveller centre is the gateway to a variety of adventures within Belize, but the bustling local restaurants, buzzing market and wide mix of cultures invite you to stay and explore a little longer. With plenty of budget hotels and a vibrant local scene, it’s a good spot to stay and become acquainted with Belize.
Caye Caulker
This small, laid-back Caribbean island is the perfect place to take some downtime. To the north, you’ll find abundant mangrove forest and diverse birdlife, while to the south is the only settlement, Caye Caulker Village.
